Mel Brooks - 1968

I don't have a whole lot to say about this one. It was funny, even for a Mel Brooks movie. I can't say it was a disappointment, but my expectations were pretty high. I mean, AFI said it was the eleventh funniest (American) movie of all time. There's no way it's funnier than Brooks' Young Frankenstein which came in thirteenth, but I guess that's a nit.

I am certain that the more times I see the film, the more it will grow on me.
